An auction for the sale of Beograd Footwear Industry undergoing restructuring has been declared unsuccessful because it failed to attract interested prospective buyers, the Privatization Agency said in a release.

The starting price was set at RSD 136.9 million, while the estimated value of 97.9 percent of the company's assets offered for sale amounts to RSD 855.8 million.

The buyer of Beograde Footwear Industry would be obligated to invest minimum RSD 78.8 million in the company.

Previous two auctions for the sale of that company, which employs 168 workers, were also unsuccessful because there were no interested prospective buyers.

Last year's business revenues of this company totalled RSD 182.2 million, while its expenditures amounted to RSD 324.7 million.
