"Zastava Upholstering" Sold its Production for the Next Five Years

The Manager of the "Zastava Upholstering" company, Mr Milija Sekulic, said that this company has sold the complete production of the next five years to the foreign partners and that they will start the production of the coverings for the head rest of the car seats for one of the Renault models of car.

Mr Sekulic pointed out that 86% of the total production of this company is assigned for the export, and the rest of the production is sold to the domestic automotive industry. This company is engaged in the production of the whole program of the rest coverings for the auto seats of "Opel" as well, under favour on Johnson Controls MTU company.

He added that his factory is also producing for the "Golf" brand name, and two months ago they have started to produce for one joint- venture, Slovenian- German company, named "Graver", sewing the coverings for the hand rest in cars.

The daily production of the factory is 20.000 coverings for the head rest of the car seats, made by 135 sewing machines, and the production program for the "Opel" cars is very huge and , talking about the daily production, it is 15.000 coverings.

The monthly brutto income is 700.000 euros, from which amount the factory itself earns 135.00 euros, and the total income for the 5 years program that has already been planned, is 8 mil euros.

Mr Sekulic added that all the production area is airconditioned, and in one months from now they will start to build the new production area and business facilities, because they need more working places, as it was planned to augment the number of sewing machines and workers into 300 in total in the next year.
