Investing in the exclusive tourist center "White acacia" in Silver lake worth even 50 millions EUR, part of the capacities in offer by the end of 2006

By startegic connecting of the Gradiste county and the first man of "Grand cafe" will be provided guaranties for the county, but also a security of the project worth 50 millions EUR.

Silver lake is going to become one of the most attractive tourist-congress centers in this part of Europe, equipped with tennis courts, pools, golf fields, high category hotels, villas and apartments, party zones and a marina.

- In order to secure the finish of the project "White acacia" worth 50 millions eur I'll offer to the county of Veliko Gradiste a contract of a special kind, known in the world as private-public partnership, which would represent the first of this kind of startegic connecting of a local community with the investitor - said the first man of "Grand cafe" Slobodan Vucicevic, during the ceremony of county's acknowledgement for the development and afirmation of tourism in Silver lake. Local community, whose leadership already showed good will for this kind of connecting, would get by this contract guaranties, and the investitor would get a security for the capital project of Silver lake's development into the local tourist destination.

Even tough this location was not on the list of priorities in the strategic tourism development in Serbia, a special encouragement was the approval of 1,3 millions eur by the Ministry of trade, tourism and services for the lake's rehabilitation, and in this way showing, according to the words of Vucicevic, that they have a sense for the projects in which both the investitor and the local community showed their will and determination to go all the way to the end.

A special department in Touristic school in Gradiste has been opened as well, and it is in plan openning of the Tourism College which would provide education for the future tourist workers and experts for the needs of this large center.

The finish of tennis courts, the club, and a hall for small sports is expected already by winter, while works on the marina and party zone with cafes, galleries and walking path, by the model of centers in Montenegro riviera, will be finished by the end of the next year. It is also in plan openning of a few hotels of high category in order to provide the highest standard and quality of the touristic offer, as well as introduction of some world famous chain.

In order to attract high class clients and make a completely different idea about this touristic organization, we will pay special attention to the golf fields which represent one of the main contents in the "White acacia" - said Vucicevic, reminding that in Slovenia, only in a couple of years back, has been built 10 golf fields and this fact put Slovenia in the category of most attractive touristic locations.
