Construction of the first rail wire at the Old Mountain starts in August

Minister of financies of Serbia, Mladjan Dinkic, said that in August of 2006 would start a construction of the first rail wire at the Old Mountain of 2 km of longitude, from the two planned, for which conduction got at the tender the Austrian company "Dople mayer".

The workers of "Serbia forests" have already cut the forest for the rail track, and at the moment they are doing the same for the ski paths, said Dinkic and added that the research showed that it was possible to built on this mountain 200 km of ski paths, which is more than there is on Kopaonik.

Besides that, by the end of the year there will be done a master plan of locations for the new hotels, as the Old Mountain doesn't have for now accomodating capacity and it is suitable only for the weekend tourism.
