Belgrade's Metropol Palace opens its door to first guests

Metropol Palace, the most famous hotel in ex-Yugoslavia, today opened its door to first guests.

- Today we opened the lobby, lobby bar, restaurant, banquet hall and floors with rooms in the main building of the hotel. I am sure that this iconic hotel will again be the place where the citizens of Belgrade, as well as people from all around the world, will be happy to meet, hang out and enjoy what Metropol Palace has to offer - said Gerasimos Perdikaris, general manager of the hotel.

Although its exterior is identical to the one of the former Metropol, the hotel exudes a brand new line of sophisticated style. A blend of contemporary architectural work and the respect for traditional architectural and artistic values of old Metropol is what makes this hotel unique in Serbia and the rest of the world.
