Vapiano to open restaurant on the site of Ruski Car on August 17th - Investment worth EUR 1.8 million
Vapiano's second restaurant in Belgrade will be opened August 17th on the site of the former restaurant Ruski Car, in Knez Mihajlova Street, and it will employ about 100 people.
- The total investment in this facility amounts to EUR 1.8 million - restaurant owners Sasa Trisic and Timm Oberwelland pointed out.
The reason for such a big undertaking stems from the fact that the first restaurant of this world-famous brand in Serbia has become very popular among the citizens of Belgrade in spite of the economic crisis, reporting the sales growth of about 25 percent for the third consecutive year. It is also officially the best of all Vapiano restaurants in terms of quality, cleanliness and service for the second year in a row.
The concept of Vapiano restaurants was created in 2002 in Hamburg, Germany as a joint project of Kent Hahne, Klaus Rader and Mark Korzilius. There are now over 100 Vapiano restaurants in 25 countries across Europe, America and the Near East, including two in Serbia and one in Sarajevo. The Vapiano brand has also been declared Europe's quickest-growing restaurant chain serving fresh and healthy.
