In following few years, company "Delta Holding" plans to invest 605m EUR in markets in Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro

Macedonian Prime Minister, Vlado Bučkovski, spoke in Skopje with the president of Serbian "Delta Holdnig" company, Miroslav Mišković, who announced big investment realization in that country, in the scope of the appearance on the regional market, especially in Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the premises of the Government of Macedonia, in the presence of Bučkovski, president of the Chamber of Commerce, Branko Azesko, and the Head of Komercijalna banka in Skopje, Harije Kostov, Mišković announced 605m EUR worth of investments in the real estates in Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

- "Delta" has the ambition to become the leader in the region in the following period - said Mišković reminding that he spoke to the officials of BiH, Republic of Srpska and Montenegro one week before and that he would travel to Tiran the following week.

Only in 2006, company "Delta M" plans to invest about 265m EUR in agriculture, retail sales, distribution, real estates and new projects in MAcedonia, BiH and Montenegro.

- In Macedonia, "Delta" will invest in the development of "Maxi" supermarket, construction of cash&carry center "Tempo", purchase-distributive center and trade center, as well as the water exploitation project - said the deputy of the president of "Delta Holding" and general manager of "Delta M" group, Ivana Veselinović, at the presentation.

In the first phase, 11 "Maxi" supermarkets will be built - five in Skopje, one in Bitola, Kumanovo, Ohrid, Prilep, Tetovo and Đevđelija. In the second phase, "Maxi" supermarkets should be built in Strumica, Štip, Veles and Gostivar.

The purchase-distributive center in Skopje will have surface of about 10,000 square meters and it is intended for procurement of fruit and early vegetables of the local manufacturers. The distribution is planned to take place in Macedonia, whereas possible surplus will be distributed in Serbia.

Total investments of "Delta holding" in Macedonia, in 2006 and the next year, according to the statement, will amount to about 113m EUR.
