Piraeus Leasing Beograd's capital increased by RSD 75.3 million
Belgrade-based Piraeus Bank has increased the capital of Piraeus Leasing Beograd by RSD 75.3 million. In the year when this leasing company celebrates its fifth anniversary of operations in the Serbian market, its total capital has grown to RSD 313.3 million, with 49% and 51% stakes held by Piraeus Bank Beograd and Piraeus Bank Athens, respectively.
The latest recapitalization will definitely result in the enhancement of a very attractive offer including a complete package of leasing services and very favorable repayment terms, flexible repayment plan and a full cost control.
Commenting on the capital increase, Piraeus Leasing CEO Konstantinos Tsiolis voiced his satisfaction with the results of five-year operations in the Serbian market and unveiled the plans for the following period:
- With this capital increase, Piraeus Leasing has strengthened its position in the market and additionally reinforced its potentials for the company's expansion and profit boost. Fresh capital will be directly used for new placements. I believe that to be the right way for us to show that we are strategically oriented towards the development of operations in Serbia and dedicated to the local market in a long run.
