The Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) will invest RSD 462 million in the renovation of gas stations in Serbia in 2012, and the company has already started the expansion of its regional retail network - in Bulgaria, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Romania, Executive Director of the NIS Sales Division Aleksandar Malanin announced Friday (18 May 2012).
We've already bought seven gas stations in Bulgaria. They will start operating this summer under the NIS brand, that is, as part of Gazprom Neft, and we will also begin developing our retail network in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Romania, Malanin told the press at the presentation of Fresh, a new type of stores and restaurants at NIS gas stations.
- The plan is to rebrand 23 gas stations of NIS in Serbia until August, while 37 new ones will be opened soon - Malanin said to journalists at the NIS gas station Zmaj 2 on the Belgrade-Novi Sad highway.
This gas station already offers a broad range of food products, fresh fruits, drinks, fast food, confectioneries, as well as one of the world's best pizzas made by Finland's Kotipizza, the largest pizza store chain in northern Europe, which operates in Russia and South Korea as well.
A more active modernization of gas stations in Belgrade is also in the pipeline, he stressed.
