Italian "Golden lady company" already provided location in Loznica for construction of new factory of socks and underwear
Loznica-based company "Zidar" in bankruptcy has been sold for 74,210,000 CSD to company "Valy" from Beloševac, near Valjevo, whose founder is Italian company "Golden lady company".
IN addition to the business building, with this procurement, company "Valy" obtained 8.7 ha of land with complete infrastructure, which will be used, according to the announcement of the new owner that deals with production of socks, men's and women's underwear, for construction of the new hall on 30,000 square meters.
The plan is that the investment be realized prior to the end of 2006 and that 500-600 workers be hired in the new production unit in the first phase.
- In addition to the hiring of new people, the sale of "Zidar" is a good opportunity for the creditors and employees of the bankrupted company to collect their claims - said Vidoje Petrović, Mayor of Loznica.
At the moment, "Golden lady company" owns 16 production units, 4 of which are in USA. These units employ over 5,000 workers and the annual income of the company is about 540m EUR.
