'Duochem' opened a new plant for biocides and plant protection products in Nova Pazova

Local company "Duochem" was given the first license for the integrated prevention and control of environmental pollution from chemical industry, at the opening ceremony of their new factory for the production and synthesis of raw materials, active substances, biocides and plant protection products in Nova Pazova. By this IPPC permit, issued under the laws harmonized with the European Union legislation, it is guaranteed that the plant and its activities shall take all necessary measures to prevent and control environmental pollution.

- Given that the company "Duochem" is engaged in basic plant health products and biocides, during design and construction of a new work space, we took special care of the implementation of best available techniques, which this license proves - said Dr. Suren Husinec, Research Fellow of the Institute for Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy, Center for Chemistry ICTM, the creator and owner of "Duochem".

He added that it was "a great honor that " Duochem " was the first Serbian company to obtain integrated permission of the chemical industry for the new plant. He also stated that they would work to ensure that the facility continued to meet the highest standards of production."

- "Duochem" is the first company on the territory of Vojvodina, which was given the license for integrated prevention and control of environmental pollution - said Dusanka Sremacki, Provincial Secretary for Urban Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection.

She explained that with the implementation of this regulation, the consumption of raw materials and energy would be minimized, and it would also be possible to reduce or prevent emissions to air, water and soil.
