President of Republic of Srpska, Dragan Čavić, and Prime Minister of Serbia, Vojislav Koštunica, agreed on changes in the Agreement on special and paralel relations between RS and former Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, which was signed on March 5, 2001, for the sake of stabilization in the region, first of all, in the field of economic cooperation.
Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Waterpower Engineering of RS, Slaven Pekić, and the Minister of Economy of Serbia, Predrag Bubalo, have signed the Memorandum, according to which the Government of Serbia stimulates allotment of 400 IMT tractors to farmers in RS on leasing, under the same conditions as in Serbia. Also, it has been announced that flight Belgrade - Banjaluka would be established, with simplification of the procedures related to services and turnover of goods on all border crossings .

"Komercijalna banka" commences its work in Banjaluka and it is expected that the first office will be opened in September 2006. Also, the equalization of status of companies from both sides, in regards to the business activities, has been announced. It is also announced that "Dunav osiguranje" will strengthen its position on the territory of RS. The plan is that border crossing Rača be used as a joint one for clearing and turnover of goods.
