Belgrade-based company "Arius" signed 750,000 EUR worth of contract on sale of its software
Business partner of "IBM” company - Belgrade-based company that produces software for banks and financial institutions"Arius" AD has signed the contract worth 750,000 EUR with Nygerian company "Cash Card Services Limited" for export of Serbian software for processing of electronic debit cards to Africa.
The contract implies issuing of electronic debit card "CashCard", based on the modern "chip" technology, which is intended for payment to banking clients and population that do not have accounts in the banks in Nygeria.
Electronic debit card "CashCard" is part of "Visa" standard system of debit cards and it can be used for other purposes both in Nygerian and on wider territory of Africa.
The owner and manager of "Arius", Slobodan Paunović, said that the software of that company was used by 15,000 POS terminals and 150 ATM's and that they had share in 500,000 issued debit cards and that they monthly processed about two million financial transactions in 22 banks in Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Slovenia and Switzerland.
