Zelezara Smederevo back in operation

A smoke is coming out of a chimney of Zelezara Smederevo - that is a certain sign that the production has started again, President of the Association of Free and Independent Trade Unions (ASNS) Dragan Milovanovic confirmed yesterday morning to Tanjug news agency.

- The production at the steel mill has been renewed, and that is the most important thing at the moment - said Milovanovic .

He specified that iron would be delivered in two or three days to the steelworks, where the product would be finalized and sent to the hot rolling mill around March 12 or 13. The plan is, as Milanovic explained, to have the complete production process up and running until March 15th.

The PR Department at Zelezara Smederevo confirmed to eKapija that the production had started again after a February break caused by bad weather.
