Government of Serbia to design Spatial Plan for South Stream transnational gas pipeline
The Government of Serbia has made a decision to start the work on the elaboration of the Spatial Plan for the special purposes of South Stream transnational gas pipeline.
Preliminary borders of the area to be covered by the Spatial Plan include parts of the following cities: Zajecar, Smederevo, Pancevo, Belgrade – Palilula, Zrenjanin, Sombor, Sremska Mitrovica, Sabac, Loznica and Novi Sad, and parts of the following municipalities: Boljevac, Paracin, Cuprija, Jagodina, Despotovac, Svilajnac, Zabari, Velika Plana, Kovin, Opovo, Titel, Zabalj, Temerin, Srbobran, Vrbas, Kula, Stara Pazova, Indjija, Ruma, Bogatic, Backi Petrovac, Backa Palanka and Bac.
The government has made this decison on the basis of the Law on Planning and Development and the Law on Government.
On the territory of the city of Zajecar, the Spatial Plan will cover the following cadastral municipalities: Veliki Izvor, Prlita, Grljan, Vratanica, Grliste, Leskovac, Gornja Bela Reka and Lenovac, while the cadastral municipalities to be covered by the Spatial Plan on the territory of the city of Smederevo are the following: Saraoci, Lugavcina, Osipaonica, Skobalj, Mala Krsna, Vranovo, Lipe I, Salinac and Smederevo.
