Vukoica Scekic named acting director of Smederevo-based steelworks

- Vukoica Scekic will be the acting director of the Smederevo steelworks until the Serbian government finds an appropriate manager - Zeljko Veselinovic, president of Sloga trade union, told Blic daily.

Scekic works at U.S. Steel since 2004, and he is currently heading the Department of Human Resources and Employment Relations.

He graduated from the Faculty of Economy in Belgrade in 1978, took an M.A. degree ten years later and a Ph.D degree in 1999 at the Faculty of Economy in Belgrade.
