Bridge at Ada opens on New Year's Eve with fireworks
The bridge at Ada, which is almost completely finished, will be ceremoniously opened in the night of December 31st. On that occasion, the bridge's decorative lighting will be turned on and the New Year's fireworks will be set off.
Due to a big interest expressed by Belgraders, upon the fireworks, the bridge will first be opened to pedestrians who will be able to cross the bridge from the side of Cukarica to the New Belgrade side.
That means that all Belgraders and guests of Belgrade will be able to cross the bridge on foot in aforementioned direction between 12.30 AM and 2 AM on January 1st, whereas the other side of the bridge, leading from New Belgrade to Cukarica, will be opened to cars half an hour after midnight.
Visitors will be enabled to park their car for free in the vicinity of the bridge, on OTC's parking lot in New Belgrade, as well as on the grounds of the Belgrade Fair.
