U.S. VelaTel Global Communicaton to take over Serbia's VeratNet?

The U.S. company VelaTel Global Communication is negotiating with the owner of VeratNet, Cypriot's Kerseiko, on the acquisition of a 51-percent stake in the Serbian Internet provider, the web portal Telecompaper reports.

This deal is expected to be concluded until February 2012.

VeratNet employs 50 people in Serbia and has about 10,000 subscribers.

According to an agreement between aforementioned companies, VelaTel can become the owner of maximum 75% of VeratNet.
