Germany's ContiTech opens factory of car parts in Mali Bajmok - Jobs for 250 workers at new factory
Minister of Economy and Regional Development Nebojsa Ciric will sign tomorrow in Subotica an agreement with Germany's ContiTech Fluid on the allotment of a grant for the construction of a new factory in the industrial zone Mali Bajmok in Subotica.
ContiTech is granted EUR 1 million from the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development's investment promotion program, that is, EUR 4,000 for each newly created job, for the employment of 250 new workers and the construction of a new plant in Subotica.
The company's investment amounts to the total of EUR 10.07 million, and the new factory will be producing various piping systems for the automotive industry, as well as other products such as hoses for turbo chargers, coolants and lubricants, the competent ministry announced.
The company ContiTech Fluid, one of six divisions of the world-famous company Continental, operates production units in 58 locations in 18 countries, and the main clients of that company are Volkswagen Group, Peugeot-Citroen Goup, BMW, and Daimler.
