Germany finances public utility projects in 14 municipalities in Serbia - value of donations - 235,000 EUR

The contract on donations worth 235,000 EUR was signed by the representatives of Permanent Conference of Cities and Municipalities (SKGO), German Organization for Technical Assistance (GTZ) and presidents of 14 small municipalities in Serbia which received that aid.

In cooperation with SKGO, GTZ, through the Ministry of Economic Cooperation of Germany (BMZ), founded fund for aid to small municipalities in order to help realization of projects for improvement of infrastructure. The project represents continuation of the investment in the infrastructure of these municipalities in which, during implementation of 24 projects in 2004 and 2005, 440,000 EUR were invested.

All projects that received financial menas will be implemented under expert and financial supervision, which should prevent spending of money on the things that are not included in the projects.
