Government adopts 2025 Budget Bill

The Government of Serbia has adopted the Bill on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2025 and a set of accompanying bills. The budget bill envisages total income and earnings in the amount of RSD 2,346.2 billion, which is 172.9 billion, or 8%, more compared to the income envisaged in the budget revision for this year.

Tax revenues are planned in the amount of RSD 1,985.1 billion (increase by RSD 120.3 billion, or 6.5%), whereas non-tax revenues are planned in the amount of RSD 325.7 billion (18.4% increase).

The budget bill envisages total expenditures and spendings of RSD 2,660.2 billion, whereas a fiscal budget deficit of 3% of the GDP is planned.


The projected economic growth rate for 2025 is 4.2% of the GDP, and the public debt of the state sector (general state) is projected at 47.5% of the GDP in 2025, whereas RSD 762.9 billion, that is, 7.4% of the GDP, is set aside for capital investments, according to the government’s website.
