This February, the Office for IT and eGovernment, in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy and the National Employment Agency, developed and put into operation the Portal for Foreign Citizens, which enables a new electronic service of filing requests for a Single Permit for temporary residence and work for foreign citizens in the Republic of Serbia, the press release reminds.

A request for a Single Permit can be submitted by a foreign citizen or an employer on behalf of a foreign citizen exclusively electronically on the Portal for Foreign Citizens.

All that is required is for the legal representative of the legal entity to log in to the eGovernment Portal and authorize a person to submit a request for a Single Permit on behalf of that legal entity, by assigning the role "Working with foreign citizens" – stated the director of the Office, Mihailo Jovanovic.
