Joint letter on reconstruction of Belgrade-Bar railroad to be signed on Friday

In addition to the construction of the fast railroads to Hungary and to southeast Serbia, the state also plans to upgrade this form of transport when it comes to sections toward Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, said the minister of construction, transport and infrastructure of Serbia, Goran Vesic, and added that, on Friday, he would travel to Montenegro in order to sign the joint letter on the reconstruction of the Belgrade-Bar railroad.

– The project of the Belgrade-Sid railroad, by which Serbia can one day, when Croatia and Slovenia decide so, be better connected with them as well, has also been completed, and Serbia has already said “yes”, whereas Croatia is yet to decide whether to build that fast railroad – pointed out Vesic.

He pointed out that Serbia had completed all its projects when it comes to connecting with the neighbors.
