CCIS President Marko Cadez stated that those offices would be an essential hub and support for Serbian companies looking to start new ventures with Chinese partners or improve their business in that vast market.
– Four years ago, CCIS established a representative office in Shanghai. Now, the Free Trade Agreement between Serbia and China has opened up completely new opportunities for the placement of our products in the Chinese market and collaboration with Chinese companies, so as of today, we officially have two more offices in China – Cadez said.
During his visit to Beijing, Cadez met with honorary CCIS representatives in China, Zhuoqun Wang, and Linda Wang, with whom he discussed cooperation between the two economies.
– We have agreed on the arrival of more than 40 buyers from China at our regional wine fair, “Wine Vision by Open Balkan,” which will be held in Belgrade in November. This will be another opportunity for our winemakers to position themselves in the Chinese market – said Cadez.
At the new CCIS offices in Beijing, Cadez had meetings with eight Chinese companies and talked to them about cooperating with Serbia. During the conversation with the officials of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC) and Fortune 500, the great possibilities for joint projects within EXPO 2027 and the transfer of knowledge and technologies were highlighted.
During the visit to China, Cadez also visited Chongqing, where he talked to numerous companies.
– At the meeting with Chinese partners, we also talked about the latest modular system for waste water treatment. It takes only two months to built this kind of system, and the new technology takes up 20 times less space than the solutions available so far – said Cadez.
