Ristic: Proposition of rulebook on minimum conditions for permits for 5G network published

The minister of information and telecommunications of Serbia, Dejan Ristic, stated at the session of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications of the National Assembly of Serbia, that the procedure for the introduction of the 5G network had started successfully. He said that the Proposition of the rulebook on the minimum conditions for the issuing of individual permits for the use of radio frequencies after the completion of the public competition for 5G had been published.

– This rulebook will proscribe the number of individual permits that can be issued for a certain radio frequency band, the period for which individual permits are issued, the minimum fee paid for the issuing of an individual permit, the manner and the dynamics of the payment of the fee for the right of use, the possibility of renewing an individual permit, as well as other minimum conditions for the issuing of individual permits – Ristic said while submitting the report on the activities of the Ministry for 2024.

The MPs which are members of said Committee accepted the reports on the activities of the Ministry in the second and third quarters by a two-thirds majority.
