Dr. Aleksandar Leposavic, one of the leading experts in fruit farming from the Cacak Fruit Research Institute, has confirmed that, so far, there has practically been no legal possibility for frozen raspberries and mixed soft fruit to enter the Chinese market.
– With the increase of the life standard and the increased demand for raspberries and frozen soft fruit during and after the coronavirus epidemic in China, the awareness and the need for the presence of such goods in the market has also grown – says Leposavic.
According to him, it should be noted that China previously did not have the culture of using frozen fruit of this type and that the majority of its populace was not familiar with its dietary benefits. The situation is now drastically different and raspberries are increasingly in demand – says Leposavic.
