The Ministry of Economy has awarded the first subsidy per the decree, adopted at the end of last year, based on which the state allocates money for the construction of new or reconstruction of old hotels in the territory of Belgrade ahead of the specialized exhibition EXPO 2027. A sum of EUR 5.9 million for this purpose has been received by Airport City West Gate doo Beograd, with the seat in New Belgrade, in order to build and equip AC Hotel by Marriott Airport City Belgrade, which will have 209 hotel rooms.

These funds that the Ministry of Economy of Serbia has allocated to Airport City West are 20% of the total costs of the investments in the construction.

Thereby, according to the contract it has signed with the Ministry of Economy, Airport City should invest at least EUR 29.9 million in material and non-material assets in a two-year period.

The funds of EUR 5.9 million will be paid in two tranches – the first one in 2025, of EUR 864,829, and the second one in 2026, in the amount of EUR 5.12 million.
