Researchers from University of Nis again on Standford’s list of world’s most influential scientists

This year as well, Stanford University published the prestigious list of the 2% most influential scientists in the world for 2023, which again features professors from the University of Nis. The list is based on standardized citation metrics which encompass all researchers and scientific disciplines during their careers. The researchers are classified in 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields according to the standard classification of Science Metrix, according to the website of the University of Nis.

The list of the 2% of the most influential scientists in the world features as many as seven professors from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Nis: prof. Dr. Predrag Stanimirovic, prof. Dr. Dijana Mosic, prof. Dr. Dragan Djordjevic, prof. emeritus Dr. Ljubisa Kocinac, prof. Dr. Niko Radulovic, prof. Dr. Gordana Stojanovic and prof. Dr. Zorica Stojanovic-Radic.

In addition to them, the list also features: prof. Dr. Slavisa Trajkovic of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture in Nis, Dejan Brkic of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Nis and prof. Dr. Olivera Stamenkovic of the Faculty of Technology in Leskovac.

Standford’s list of the most influential scientists in the world, based on the standardized citation metrics for all scientists and scientific disciplines throughout their careers, also features the names of the following professors: Dr. Niko Radulovic and Dr Dragan Djordjevic of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics.
