Erste bank Novi Sad plans openning of EU office in Serbia

"Till the end of 2006 or no later than the first part of 2007, it is in our intention to open up in Serbia EU office. In this way we wish to provide to our clients all necessary help in the way to European union", stated Sava Dalbokov, new general director of Erste bank a.d. Novi Sad. According to his words, the main goal of this office would be to provide more efficient access to EU funds.

About the importance of EU office in Serbia, talked Gertrude Han as well, the director for European questions of Erste bank in Vienna, who mentioned that in the budget of EU till 2013, in the fund for preaccess assistance, was planned more than 14 billions eur, out of which Serbia could count on around 240 millions eur.

However, how much of this money really appear depends on the quality of the program for application in front of the European comission.
