The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of Serbia has completed the early public inspection of the Spatial Plan of the Special-Purpose Area of the Infrastructure Corridor of the Fast Route Kraljevo-Raska-Novi Pazar, which will be 83.4 kilometers long and it is now being prepared, announced minister Goran Vesic.

– As part of the traffic route, around 11.3 km of the fast route from Raska to Jarinje is being designed, so the total length of the fast route will be 94.7 kilometers – Vesic wrote on social networks.

The Spatial Plan of the Special-Purpose Are encompasses 650.37 square kilometers of parts of the cities of Kraljevo and Novi Pazar, as well as the Municipality of Raska.

The fast route will begin at the Adrani interchange and stretch southward by a new route, bypassing, on the west side, the building area of Kraljevo and crossing the existing (old) Cacak-Kraljevo road, and the road route is planned and designed for speeds of 80 to 100 kilometers per hour.

As eKapija has written before, the corridor of the fast route begins at the Adrani interchange on IA-grade state road no. 5 (E-761 highway, under construction) and stretches southward by a new route, bypassing, on the west side, the building area of Kraljevo and crossing the existing (old) Cacak-Kraljevo road.

In the area of the Mataruge and Progorelica settlements, the fast route merges with the existing IB-grade state road no. 22 and goes farther, for most of the remaining length, through the Ibar Gorge, whereby, in certain parts, a new route is defined, adapted to the required geometry of the road.

From the Usce settlement, the newly planned fast route diverges from the existing road route, with which it then merges again near the Baljevac settlement. Farther on, the newly planned route bypasses the building area of Raska on the west side and then stretches down the newly planned route all the way to Novi Pazar.
