Woman from Novi Sad designs app which facilitates finding lost pets

The disappearance of a pet can be very stressful for the owner, but also the pet. If your pet is lost or if you’ve found an animal in the street without the owner – you are in the right place! Now there is the smart app PinPet available, which helps return missing pets to their families.

PinPet unifies all the lost and found pets in the territory of Serbia, and there’s also the possibility of following the notifications and updates about how long the search is going on.

– The app was designed by a woman from Novi Sad, to the benefit of the wide community. It is the mobile app PinPet.rs, meant for finding lost pets or announcing when lost ones have been found, so that they would be returned to the owner as soon as possible. It is free, it is simple to install and it is easy to use. It is intended as an addition to the already existing groups for lost and found pets, which already exist on the social networks. It also offers the option of preparing a poster with an image of the lost pet, which the user can print themselves or share through Viber or WhatsApp messages, social network profiles and so on. This is often a problem for the users, because they don’t have the requisite knowledge, and now the program does it instead of them – they point out at the PinPet team.

You need to put up a notification about your missing dog or a pet you’ve found, and you don’t know who the owner is, you add the photographs, the location and all the important information. It is possible to design posters with an image of the lost or found pet within one minute – share them on social networks, send them in the form of a message to your friends, or print them out at the closest print shop.

All app users can use the available categories of searching and filtering by location, kind, color, name and the pet’s personal number.

The app is the result of years of work done by Snezana Bosnjak, PhD in Economics, whose philanthropic effect so far has been of great importance for Novi Sad and beyond. Snezana is also one of the founders of Pet Mondo, an association for the welfare and protection of animals which takes care of more than 120 animals from the street.
