Putting into operation the new kilometers of the section of the Milos Veliki highway, those between Pakovrace and Pozega, has been postponed from month to month now, and there doesn’t seem to be an end to these postponements either. It was first announced that the section from Preljina to Pozega would be completed by the end of 2021, but in the meantime, only a part of this highway to Pakovrace was put into operation. Recently, the PE Roads of Serbia announced that the construction of the remaining cca. twenty kilometers to Pozega might take another year.

Last weekend, the minister of construction, transport and infrastructure of Serbia, Goran Vesic, was the most recent one to mention this topic. He assures that the section to Pozega will be ready for traffic by June 1 next year.

– The boring of the right-hand tube of the Munjino Brdo tunnel will be completed on October 15, and on November 23, that job will also be done on the left-hand tube – Vesic posted on his social network profiles the statements he gave to Pink.

As he pointed out, after the boring of the tunnel tubes, the tunnel is to be equipped, which, he added, takes about six months.
