Raca, Androvac, Donja Raca to get wastewater treatment plant worth about €1.3 million in April 2012
The public utility company Raca plans to build a wastewater treatment plant worth about RSD 130 million. The construction should kick off in mid-November 2011.
This plant will be treating wastewater from settlements Raca, Donja Raca and Androvac, which altogether have about 7,000 inhabitants.
- There is a plant in Raca that used to treat wastewater, but it is out of service for years. That is why we have decided to have a new treatment plant built – Bojan Miletic from the public utility company Raca told eKapija.
The wastewater treatment plant will be built in Donja Raca.
The procedure for selection of the contractor is underway and bidders can submit their bids until November 5th. The construction of the plant will start as soon as the contractor is appointed.
- According to our plans, construction works should be completed in April 2012 - says Miletic.
The public utility company Raca has obtained the funds for the implementation of this project from the Water Directorate of the Republic of Serbia.
