As announced in mid-July, the new price list for passenger transportation in rail traffic will be valid from September 1, and new features will also be introduced in the payment method. As Srbijavoz previously pointed out, passengers who buy tickets via the mobile application will be able to get a discount of 10%, instead of the previous five percent, and a fixed fee for buying tickets on the train will be introduced, which will amount to an additional 500 dinars.

As stated, the fee for buying tickets on the train is being introduced with the aim of a more efficient capacity management and ensuring maximum comfort for passengers.

Srbijavoz, as reported by N1, has urged passengers to secure their tickets before entering the train so as not to incur additional costs for ticket issuance during the ride.

Starting this month, all passengers who buy tickets through the mobile application receive "push notifications" with notifications about possible deviations from the planned timetable at departure, as well as during the journey.

New ticket machines

By the end of August, passengers will be able to use 23 new ticket machines that will work 24 hours a day at stations throughout Serbia, and another 35 ticket machines will be installed by the end of the year, according to the announcement.

Therefore, a ticket for Soko on the route Belgrade - Novi Sad will cost 661 dinars if purchased online, or 734 dinars if purchased at the ticket office or ticket machine. A 20% discount will apply to return tickets in both cases.
