By the end of the year, another 30 kilometers of the Morava Corridor will be opened to traffic, whereby Trstenik and Vrnjacka Banja will be connected to the network of highways and fast routes, stated the minister of construction, transport and infrastructure of Serbia, Goran Vesic, while visiting the site of the construction works on the section from the Kosevi interchange to the village of Medvedja near Krusevac.

– The works are going as planned. The Morava Corridor is one of the most important highways under construction in Serbia, because it will connect two highways, “Milos Veliki” and the Belgrade-Nis highway. In essence, the Morava Corridor is bringing life to this whole area, connecting Cacak, Kraljevo, Vrnjacka Banja, Trstenik and Krusevac and enabling over 500,000 people to get a quick traffic connection, so that we can secure new investments and a better life for all people. We expect the Cacak-Adrani section to also be completed by the middle of next year, and the one from Vrnjacka Banja to Adrani by the end of 2025 – said Vesic, as announced on his social media profiles.

As he pointed out, when the ring road around Kragujevac and the planned Kraljevo-Novi Pazar fast route are added to it, this area will be fully connected by highways.
