Company wanted for the studies on geological control surveys of the second phase of BG metro line 2: Merkator - Mirijevo

PUC Belgrade Metro and Train has announced a tender for the preparation of studies on geological control surveys of the second phase of line 2 of the Belgrade metro. The estimated value of the acquisition was not specified.

The second phase of line 2 of the Belgrade metro, from the Merkator station (excluding the station itself) to the Mirijevo station (excluding the station), on which geological control surveys are needed, is 12.31 km long, from km 11+535 to km 23+841, with 12 stations, 7 evacuation-ventilation shafts (shafts) and with 12 interstation tunnel sections.

The method of construction of the second phase of line 2 of the Belgrade metro, on the section from the Merkator station to the Mirijevo station, i.e. to the terminus of line 2, will be via a tunnel boring machine (Tunnel Boring Machine -TBM).

In order to create a geological study, an analysis of the results of all existing geological surveys within the corridor of the metro line 2 second phase should be performed, as well as all documentation that processed similar or the same terrains through which the route of the second phase of metro line 2 will pass.

Research and surveys are mandatory on parts of the route that are not sufficiently "covered" by earlier research or where the complexity of the geological structure requires additional clarifications.

New researches should be especially focused on those parts of the terrain where underground sections of the metro route and planned stations, as well as other engineering structures, are foreseen.

The deadline for applying for the tender is September 5.
