Spatial Plan for the Presevo ​​border crossing to be developed - Capacity expansion planned

The Government of Serbia made a decision on the creation of a Spatial Plan for the special purpose area of ​​the Presevo ​​border crossing with elements of detailed regulation. This spatial plan will cover part of the territory of the municipality of Presevo, including the cadastral municipality of Miratovac.

The vision and long-term development goal of the adoption of the Spatial Plan is, as stated, the provision of spatial conditions for the construction-expansion of the Presevo ​​border crossing in conditions of sustainable development of the planning area.

- The conceptual framework of planning, utilization, arrangement and protection of the planning area is based on the provision of conditions for the construction of the border crossing, the organization of the work of the control services, the expansion of the border crossing capacity and the rules for the arrangement, construction and use of facilities and areas within the border crossing - it is stated.

The deadline for the drafting of the Spatial Plan is 12 months, and the funds for the preparation will be provided by the Republic Directorate for Property, whereas the Agency for Spatial Planning and Urbanism is responsible for the preparation of the plan.
