SGS celebrates tenth anniversary of operations in Serbia - Swiss company opens Quality Academy in Belgrade

The affiliate of the Swiss company SGS has celebrated its first decade of successful operations on the territory of Serbia and Montenegro. The celebration of this jubilee gathered a number of respectable guests from the field of economy, non-commercial organizations, and the economic and political sector of these two countries. A new building serving as the headquarters of this company in Belgrade was opened on that occasion, and the red tape was cut by Swiss Deputy Ambassador to Serbia Jean-Luc Ash.
This ceremony was also attended by leading executives of the company from Geneva. It is important to say that SGS is thinking about the future and the training and promotion of personnel in the area of quality. The new building of SGS in Belgrade is also the first Quality Academy.

SGS also proved its social responsibility and care for the future of our country. Namely, SGS CEO Marinko Ukropina handed a check to Veran Matic, thus joining the B92 Fund's campaign - Battle for Babies. In that way, the company SGS also acquired the title of the "company hero" since it provided the money for the procurement of another baby incubator.
