Significant geothermal water reserves and potentials in the Zasavica zone
On the territory covered by the Zasavica Spatial Plan, there are significant reserves of geothermal waters, and the results of initial basic geothermal researches are favorable.
The temperature of water from these wells ranges between 30C and 78C, and the area of the municipality of Bogatic is singled out as one with the greatest prospects.
There are several research wells on this territory, drilled by the Faculty of Mining and Geology from Belgrade (in the period 1981-1991). The basic geothermal researches in Macva, on the territory of the municipality of Bogatic, have not been finished yet, but it is still singled out as the area with the greatest prospects, especially the Dublje-Bogatic area.
