Engineer Chivoine Rem new CEO of Nikola Tesla Airport – Berisot going to Budapest

Vinci Airports has announced that it has appointed Chivoine Rem as the new CEO of the Belgrade Airport company, who will take over the position formally in the coming weeks. The current CEO, Francois Berisot, has been appointed the CEO of the airport in Budapest.

– It is my pleasure to arrive to Belgrade to join the continuation of the big and successful transformation of the Nikola Tesla Airport. We will continue focusing on having the airport become a model in the region when it comes to growth, efficiency, customer experience and care for the environment – said Rem, as announced by the company.

As a graduate of École Polytechnique in Paris, the engineer Chivoine Rem is an expert with international experience in the public and private sectors. Until recently, in France, he was the CEO of the Rennes Airport and the Dinard Airport, which are part of the network of the airports of the company Vinci Airports. Having joined the company in 2019, as a manager, he ran international projects of Vinci Highways and was then the executive director of the Toulon Hyères Airport in the south of France. Before that, he worked at the Government of France as the head of the sector for the public debt market and relations with investors at the French Treasury, then as the portfolio manager in the state agency for the management of shares and the financial attaché at the Embassy of France in Washington D.C.


As the CEO of Belgrade Airport, Chivoine Rem will continue, as said, realizing the project of the expansion and modernization so that the Belgrade Airport would reach a number of 15 million passengers a year by the end of the concession period and “confirm the position of a traffic hub in Southeast Europe.”
