The Serbian branch office of the Slovenian company Don Don, which became the majority owner of Zitopek ten years ago, has submitted an offer for the buyout of the remaining 49.2% of that Nis-based company. The price they are offering is around RSD 737.5 million, as announced in the documentation on the website of the Belgrade Stock Exchange, and the offer is valid until July 15.

The Belgrade branch of the Slovenian producer of bread and baked products currently owns 50.8%, so the purchase of the remaining shares would make it a 100% owner of Zitopek from Nis.

– The bidder intends to acquire 121,977 shares, that is, 121,977 votes, CFI code: ESVUFR and ISIN no: RSZTOEE61482, which comprises 49.20% of the total number of shares and 49.20% of the total number of votes. The bidder obliges to pay RSD 6,047 per share – it is said on the website of the Belgrade Stock Exchange.

Don Don, as emphasized, will not change the core activity of Zitopek or the location.

The company Don Don has been operating in Serbia since 2008. It owns the brands Tvojih 5 minuta and Nase Zrno.
