Reconstruction and extension of General Hospital in Novi Pazar to continue – Tender for designers to be opened at end-July

The City of Novi Pazar has published a prior notice about the preparation of the project-technical documentation for the demolition of old and dilapidated facilities, the extension and reconstruction of the existing ones, the construction of new facilities of the General Hospital in that city, and as said, the tender will be opened on July 29.

Let us remind that, two years ago, the mayor of Novi Pazar, Nihat Bisevac, and the director of the Office for Public Investment Management, Marko Blagojevic, signed the agreement on the joint implementation of the public procurement procedure for the construction, extension, reconstruction and adaptation of the General Hospital in Novi Pazar, as said on the website of that municipality. The construction of the facilities is the pre-condition for raising the general hospital to the level of a clinical center.

The tender was soon opened, and the consortium led by the Novi Sad-based company GAT was entrusted with the job of the construction, extension, reconstruction and adaptation of the facilities. That group, which is also comprised by Tehnoinzenjering and Enterijer Mosa from Novi Sad, Saturn Electric and Jugogradnja from Belgrade and Remontni centar from Uzice, offered to do the job for slightly over six billion and 119 million dinars, that is, around EUR 51.8 million.

As pointed out, the project encompasses the construction of a new surgical block with the reconstruction of the existing one, the construction of a psychiatry building, the extension of the internal medicine department and the full reconstruction of the existing facility, as well as a detailed adaptation of the health center.
