Will they design the pavilions for Expo 2027? – Alchemy, specialized in Expos, opens subsidiary in Serbia

Alchemy, a leading provider of specialist project delivery services for ambitious cultural and sports projects, has announced the opening of its new subsidiary in Serbia.

As reported by Business Insider, this strategic expansion is set to leverage the significant opportunities presented by the upcoming Expo 2027, which will be hosted in Belgrade.

The press release says that Alchemy Projects d.o.o. is poised to bring its expertise to the growing Serbian market, and the new subsidiary will serve as a hub for innovative project solutions, supporting the region`s growth and development in anticipation of the Expo.

In the lead-up to the Expo, Alchemy Projects d.o.o. plans to host a series of networking events to engage with local stakeholders and share industry best practices.

Their portfolio features the UAE pavilion at EXPO 2020 Dubai, the pavilion of Great Britain for EXPO 2017 in Astana and the pavilion of the USA for EXPO 2025 in Osaka, and they will also cooperate on designing the British pavilion at the same expo next year.

According to the data of the Serbian Business Registers Agency, Alchemy Projects d.o.o. was founded at the end of May in Belgrade, and Petar Sukara, the owner of the Belgrade-based accounting agency Aktiva system, is listed as the 100% owner.

Several days ago, Alchemy Projects d.o.o. opened bank accounts in Serbia.

Let us remind that, at the beginning of June, the Ministry of Finance of Serbia opened the contest for the design of the national pavilion of Serbia at EXPO 2027, and the deadline for the application for the tender expired on Friday.

After that, the company EXPO 2027 d.o.o. opened the tender for the preliminary designs, preparation and production of the features of the thematic pavilions “The Power of Play” and “Play for Progress” within the event.
