Belgrade hosts meeting of international military experts in logistics

This week, Belgrade is the host of the 25th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Multinational Logistics Coordination Center, an international organization which aims to build the capabilities and find solutions for logistics support to the armed forces of the member-countries, announced the Ministry of Defense of the Government of Serbia.

Another 19 countries from Europe, as well as the United States of America, take part in the operations of this advisory body, which the Republic of Serbia joined as a member in 2016.

At this week’s meeting of the Board of Directors, which consists of military experts from all member-countries, the degree of the realization of the tasks on the joint projects of standardization in the field of logistics and enabling the logistics staff for tasks in a multinational environment was analyzed.

Also, the report on the operations of the Center and the plans of activities for the period until 2027 were adopted.

The participation of Serbia in the operations of this international organization, which is taking place within the Partnership for Peace Program, contributes to the realization of the set goals of the partnership and the further improvement of the interoperability and the degree of training of the logistics organs in the Serbian Armed Forces, the press release says.
