Porecje's peppers on menu at Hilton hotels

Austria's Fru Com and Germany's Brender are going to purchase two tonnes of processed peppers from Vucje-based Porecje, thus enabling the products of this Serbian company to appear in the global market.

- A salad made of these peppers should be included in the menu of Hilton hotels, and the two companies from Austria and Germany are the largest European suppliers of this famous hotel chain – says Dragisa Radosavljevic, director of the agricultural company Porecje from Vucje, a small town near Leskovac.

People in the Leskovac region grow peppers on an area of about 2,000 hectares, which is why these people are called 'pepper growers' (paprikari).

By the way, at the 22nd Leskovac Grill Festival, Porecje from Vucje presented a new assortment of products, which drew a great attention of all generations. People at this company claim that their pickled products are of such high quality because they are made by a recipe nearly hundred years old.
