The Municipality of Pozega has put up for public inspection the detailed regulation plan of the eco settlement Modern Village (Savremeno selo) on the Maljen Mountain. The settlement, which is planned as a glamping vacationing site, will feature, in addition to a space for tents and trailers, a spa center, a restaurant and accommodation facilities, and a zone for fruit and vegetable farming is planned as well.

The complex is planned in the area of the village of Ljutice, on around 8 hectares.

Within the tourism and hospitality zone, the plan includes a reception area, a gift shop, a camp for around 20 trailers and a camp for around 20 tents, a restaurant with around 150 seats, a spa center (an indoor pool, a sauna, a gym and so one), around 25 accommodation units of various types with saunas (for 6 to 8 persons), an outdoor sports court for volleyball, basketball and futsal, a children’s playground, yoga platforms and spaces for picnics and gatherings around a campfire.

When it comes to the eco camp, a joint firebox is planned in the central part, and water from barrels will be used for showering.

The project, as can be seen from the plan, is supposed to be eco-friendly, so, to the end of protecting the ornithofauna, the external lighting of the eco camp needs to be directed toward the ground.

The use of renewable energy sources from solar power plants or panels on the roofs and the canopies of the facilities is also planned in the camp.

The project also includes the development of the existing gully and the construction of a bridge, as well as a parking lot for 100 vehicles and an access road to the camp.

Within the parcel of the eco settlement in spots, through space development, it is possible to form zones for the organic production of food (orchards and vegetable farms, crop and livestock farming).

The plan, which was prepared by Arhiplan doo from Arandjelovac, is available for public inspection until July 1.
