It is reminded that, after the international glass industry Vaider Group acquired the Serbian Glass Factory at the end of 2022, the production needed to be stopped due to the state of the old furnaces, which was followed by a year and a half of repair works and then also an investment of EUR 50 million in the modernization of the production, with the support of the Government of Serbia.
It is emphasized that the production machines AIS, which turn the glass mass into a bottle, are the most modern machines of their kind in the world and they enable the production of over 300 bottles per minute at the factory in Paracin. It is added that machines can also produce a wide range of glass packaging – from bottles, small bottles of only 10 milliliters, to big jars and bottles of 2.5 and more liters. Additionally, at the Serbian Glass Factory, they can recycle 200 tons of glass a day, whereby a majority of the raw materials come from Serbia.
The aim of Vaider Group is for the Serbian Glass Factory in Paracin to become the key producer of high-quality packaging glass in Serbia and Southeast Europe, the press release says.
