Israeli company Nofar Energy starts building biggest solar power plant in Serbia in Ada – Project worth EUR 25 million

Nofar Energy has laid down the foundation stone for the biggest solar power plant in Serbia. The project is worth EUR 25 million with an estimated annual production of electrical energy of 33,150,000 kWh.

Today, the Israeli company Nofar Energy laid down the foundation stone for two solar power plants with a capacity of 26 MW. By the total capacity, this is the biggest solar park which should be connected to the network by the end of the year. This act marks the beginning of the construction of two solar power plants, Ada 1 and Ada 2, in the North Banat District in Vojvodina, in a location which covers 30 hectares in the settlement of Ada.

The project is worth EUR 25 million, and the estimated annual production of electrical energy is 33,150,000 kWh, which roughly meets the needs of more than 9,000 households.

Nofar Energy is expanding its RES portfolio with the advanced project of solar power plants of 26 MW, here in Serbia, and the plan is for them to start working as soon as in late 2024.
