Mali for RTS: In EXPO year we expect GDP of EUR 100 billion

Serbia is expected to have a GDP of EUR 100 billion in the year of the organization of the specialized exhibition EXPO Serbia, said the minister of finance of Serbia, Sinisa Mali. He said on RTS that the country’s economy was stable and that it had grown 4.6% in the first quarter of 2024.

– We want to get closer to the EU standard at an accelerated pace and strengthen our economy and our budget – said Mali.

He also said that the fiscal stability was maintained and that that provided trust and credibility and made the country attractive.


When it comes to the features to be built in the coming period, in addition to the EXPO complex and the national stadium, Mali also mentioned the construction of three big thematic parks, a large aquarium and the “London Eye”.
