Mikom company to build factory of construction containers in Srbobran – Employment of 300 workers planned

The Municipal Assembly of Srbobran has approved the sale of a building parcel of nine hectares in the industrial zone to the Novi Sad-based company Mikom, stated Radivoj Debeljacki, the president of the Municipality of Srbobran.

– The plan of Mikom is to raise a facility for the production of construction containers in Srbobran, which currently functions in Novi Sad. In the first phase, the plan is to employ 200 people, whereas in the next phases, that number would increase to 300 employees. That is a great step forward for our local self-government. This is the second factory to arrive to Srbobran in the past three or four years, after Alutec – said Debeljacki.

He noted that, as soon as 2024, the investor intended to start the preparatory works.
